A Place to Call Home

We are privileged to care for a number of children who call Living Hope home.

Since our founding, Living Hope International has taken guardianship of orphaned and vulnerable children who’s families are unable to provide physical and educational care.

Currently, Living Hope provides full-time support for over 30 children.

Amongst a population of over 19.6 million, there are over 1.2 million orphans in Zambia, around 6 per cent of the entire population. The physical need is great. But the spiritual need is even greater.

Living Hope desires not just to meet physical needs (James 2:14-17), but to meet the greatest need that each of these children have:

The need for Christ.

What does it look like to live at Living Hope?

Children live in small homes of 10; eight children and two house parents. This more intimate helps provide a sense of belonging and family. Our children attend Grace Academy, a private Christian school, and attend church on our campus, led by our Campus Pastor. They also have access to medical care, and receive food, clothing, and most importantly, mentorship and spiritual guidance as they grow into young men and women.

While living on our campus, children are also encouraged to pursue their interests and their gifts, whether that be sports, dance, music, academics, etc. To learn more about the other aspects of our campus, visit the page below.
